Art exhibition to celebrate China-DRPK 70th anniversary
On April 9, an art exhibition of photos, paintings, sculptures and books from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) was held in Beijing to mark the 70th anniversary of China-DPRK diplomatic ties. Also, it marks the first anniversary of DPRK leader Kim Jong Un's first visit to China last March.

The exhibition has shown an overview of DPRK leader Kim's four visits to China, and what he and Chinese President Xi Jinping said during their meetings on the issues of national economic development, China's efforts on the Peninsula issue and reviews China-DPRK relations inherited from generations to generations of both sides.
Lin Yi, vice president of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), Pak Kyong Il, chairman of Korea-China Friendship Society, Jong Hyon U, charge d'affaires of DPRK embassy to China, Wang Yanling, founder of 798 Art District, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

The art exhibition is scheduled to open to the public from April 9 to May 8 at 798 Art District in the Chaoyang District, northeast Beijing.

The exhibition hosted by the CPAFFC, a state organization specialized in people-to-people exchanges, China-DPRK Friendship Association (CKFA), Korea-China Friendship Society and the DPRK Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, Korea-China Friendship Society. It was co-hosted by Beijing Chaoyang International Center for Cultural Exchanges and Mansudae Art Studio of the DPRK.
