German shares gain 1.35 pct
FRANKFURT, April 1 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index up 155.95 points, or 1.35 percent, to close at 11,681.99 points.
Industrial giant Thyssenkrupp gained the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 5.76 percent. Automotive supplier Continental and semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies rose by 5.20 percent and 4.64 percent respectively.
Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 1.92 percent. Energy group RWE and pharmaceutical company Merck dropped 1.00 percent and 0.89 percent respectively.
Automotive manufacturer Daimler was the most-traded share with a turnover of 426.7 million euros (479.1 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
