Chicago soybeans higher in morning trade on fresh Chinese purchase
Chicago, April 1 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) soybean futures traded higher on Monday morning, AS U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) reported new CHINESE purchASe.
AS of 1530 GMT, the most active May soybeans were up 6 cents at 8.9025 dollars per bushel. May wheat wAS up 4.25 cents at 4.62 dollars per bushel. May corn wAS up 4 cents at 3.605 dollars per bushel.
The USDA on Monday confirmed 828,000 tonnes of soybeans by private exporters for delivery to China during the 2018/19 marketing year.
Corn and wheat futures also went up, AS bargain hunters snap up contracts after Friday's losses.
