Xiongan: a new development pattern for China

One year later, the master plan for news.cn/en/tag/i0xadknkddf9711def8bd8/index.html" target="_blank">Xiongan news.cn/en/tag/i0xngaj3163f76200c981b/index.html" target="_blank">new area was approved which symbolized a key step forward in its construction. Now news.cn/en/tag/i0xadknkddf9711def8bd8/index.html" target="_blank">Xiongan news.cn/en/tag/i0xngaj3163f76200c981b/index.html" target="_blank">new Area is going to reach full-scale construction stage after a series of thorough investigations and completionof comprehensive plans over the past two years.
news.cn/en/tag/i0xadknkddf9711def8bd8/index.html" target="_blank">Xiongan has been considered a news.cn/en/tag/i0xngaj3163f76200c981b/index.html" target="_blank">new economic zone with national significance after the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone and the Pudong news.cn/en/tag/i0xngaj3163f76200c981b/index.html" target="_blank">new Area. It is expected to be of lasting importance for the millennium to come. The establishment of news.cn/en/tag/i0xadknkddf9711def8bd8/index.html" target="_blank">Xiongan news.cn/en/tag/i0xngaj3163f76200c981b/index.html" target="_blank">new Area is an inevitable requirement to promote the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. It has natural advantages such as vast hinterland, abundant resources and strong environmental carrying capacity.

However, compared with Pudong news.cn/en/tag/i0xngaj3163f76200c981b/index.html" target="_blank">new Area and Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, news.cn/en/tag/i0xadknkddf9711def8bd8/index.html" target="_blank">Xiongan news.cn/en/tag/i0xngaj3163f76200c981b/index.html" target="_blank">new Area is still at a disadvantage in regional development balance, market-oriented level and industrial structure. Therefore, it is necessary to vigorously exert the diffusion effect of Beijing and Tianjin.
For example, large state-owned enterprises and universities should be encouraged to move to news.cn/en/tag/i0xngaj3163f76200c981b/index.html" target="_blank">new areas, technology spillover effects in Beijing and Tianjin should be strengthened, and unbalanced regional development should be alleviated.
