Hard Brexit increasingly realistic scenario: Austria's Kurz
Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said his government still supports an orderly Brexit despite a third DEAL being rejected by the British parliament on Friday, though he admits a no-DEAL scenario appears increasingly likely.
He criticized the outcome in London as a "bad decision that only makes the chaos greater."
The European Union has taken a clear stance that should no decision be reached by Britain by April 12, a "hard Brexit" will happen, he said.
The rejection of Prime Minister Theresa May's attempts to see a DEAL through makes this an increasingly realistic outcome, he added.
He reiterated his stance that both Austria and the European Union are well-prepared for any outcome.
