Saudi king leaves for Tunisia on official visit

RIYADH, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Saudi Royal Court announced on Thursday the departure of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for an official visit to Tunisia.

According to a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency, the visit comes at an invitation from Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi.

The two sides would review the means to develop bilateral ties, as well as regional and international issues of common interest.

The Saudi king will also head his country's delegation for the Arab summit due on March 31 in Tunisia.
