Lebanon arrests Syrian woman for selling forged passports

BEIRUT, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Lebanon's state security arrested on Thursday a Syrian Woman for selling forged passports to Syrians in Lebanon, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.

The Woman has admitted offering forged passports and documents for Syrians trying to travel to Turkey and other European countries at a starting price of 6,000 U.S. dollars per passport, NNA said.

The Woman was working with a network in Turkey, it added.

She was transferred to the judicial bodies for further investigations and other legal procedures.

The Lebanese authorities are pursuing other suspects in similar cases.
