Casualties feared as mortar mine strikes residential area in E. Afghanistan

MEHTERLAM, AFGHANISTAN, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Casualties were feared as a mortar mine fired by militants struck a house in Alishing district of AFGHANISTAN's eastern Laghman province on Thursday, a local official named Assadullah Dawlatzai said.
