KHARTOUM, march 27 (Xinhua) -- Sudanese First Vice-President Awad Mohamed Ahmed Ibn Auf will lead his country's delegation to the Arab summit, scheduled to be held in Tunisia at the end of march, Sudan Tribune reported.

"Sudan is keen on attending the Arab event, to take place on march 30 and 31, out of its commitment to Arab causes," Sudan's Foreign Minister Al-Dirdiri Mohamed Ahmed was quoted as saying.

He explained that the summit will discuss support for peace and development in Sudan and the recent U.S. decision on the Golan Heights.

Issues of developing the national Arab security, combating terrorism and human trafficking and the current political situation in the Arab region will also be on the agenda of the summit, he said.
