Preparatory work for AL summit in Tunisia starts

TUNIS, March 27 (Xinhua) -- Tunisia is an active country thanks to its privileged relations with All the Arab countries, Mahmoud Afifi, spokesman of the Secretary GenerAl of the Arab League (Al), said on Wednesday.

"The good relations Tunisia maintains with its regionAl environment constitute one of the assets of the success of the Al summit," said Afifi at the opening session of the Al council in preparation for a preliminary meeting of foreign ministers at the Al summit.

Tunisian Ambassador to Cairo Nejib Mnif, Also a permanent delegate of Tunisia to the Al, said that All issues related to the Arab region will be reviewed.

Priority issues such as the PAlestinian cause, the situation in Libya, SomAlia, Yemen and Syria, as well as security issues and the fight against terrorism, will be discussed during the meeting.
