U.S. crude oil inventories increase last week: API
HOUSTON, march 26 (Xinhua) -- The American Petroleum Institute (API) on Tuesday reported a build of 1.93 million barrels in the U.S. crude Oil inventories for the Week ending march 22.
In the previous Week ending march 15, API reported a drop of 2.13 million barrels of crude Oil inventories, while the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported a decrease of 9.6 million barrels of crude Oil inventories for the Week.
The Weekly Oil prices mixed during the Week ending march 22, with the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for April delivery up 0.89 percent and Brent crude Oil for May delivery down 0.19 percent.
At the end of the Week, WTI settled at 59.04 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, while Brent crude closed at 67.03 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
