Four dead, 8 injured in Philippine bus crash
MANILA, March 26 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and nine others injured when a bus plunged into a ravine in Negros Occidental province in the central Philippines.
Police said the accident happened on Monday night in a village of Salvador Benedicto town.
Police said the bus was travelling west to Bacolod City from San Carlos City when the mishap happened.
The driver apparently lost control of the bus while negotiating a curve when it rammed into a concrete barrier on the roadside.
