Two Costa Rican bikers banned for viral track fight
Two Costa Rican bikers, who caught the attention of social media users around the world recently, have been slapped with two-year bans.
A bizarre fist-fight between Jorge Martinez and Marion Calvo in the Costa Rica National Motorbike Championship has gone viral on social media.
The race in the Central American country's Alajuela city on February 17 saw their bikes got entangled during the race and subsequently, both riders got into utterly funny fisticuffs in the middle of the track.

The incident started when Martinez's bike collided with Calvo's bike from behind when he skidded off and lost control during a turn. The collision resulted in Martinez's bike hanging onto the back of his fellow rider's two-wheeler for a few seconds before sliding out of the track from the centripetal force.
Meanwhile, after being hit and slowed down by Martinez's bike, Calvo stopped on the side of the track. A fraction of a second later, Martinez, stranded on the track, flew off the handle and threw a punch at a flabbergasted Calvo before walking off.
The latter was caught off guard for a few seconds before chasing Martinez from behind and shoving him inside the track in quick retaliation. As the melee broke out in the middle of track, the race was immediately halted.
After a few weeks of deliberation and discussion, the decision to take disciplinary action against both riders was announced.
