Dollar slightly rises to lower 110 yen as stock selling eases
Tokyo, March 25 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar increased slightly to The lower 110 yen zone in Tokyo on Monday as stock selling eased after sharp declines due to worries over The global economy.
At 5 p.m., The dollar was quoted at 110.05-06 yen compared with 109.89-99 yen in New York and 110.76-77 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. on Friday. It moved between 109.70 yen and 110.14 yen during The day.
The euro fetched 1.1307-1309 dollars and 124.44-48 yen against 1.1295-1305 dollars and 124.19-29 yen in New York and 1.1387-1388 dollars and 126.12-16 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon.
