Shanghai crude oil futures close lower
SHANGHAI, March 25 (Xinhua) -- crude Oil futures closed lower on Monday at the Shanghai International Energy Exchange (INE).
The most active crude Oil contract for May delivery was 10.6 yuan (1.6 U.S. dollars) lower to close at 450.2 yuan a barrel.
On Monday, the total trading volume for 10 listed crude Oil futures contracts on the exchange was 299,624 lots with a turnover of 135.4 billion yuan.
China launched the crude Oil futures trading on March 26 last year. It was the first futures variety on the Chinese mainland open to overseas investment.
