China's Zhang Shuai pairs with Stosur to make second round at Miami Open

WASHINGTON, March 22 (Xinhua) -- China's tennis player Zhang Shuai and Australian Samantha Stosur advanced into the second round of the Miami open women's doubles event on Friday.

Zhang and Stosur, seeded sixth in the event, defeated Raquel Atawo of the United States and Slovenia's Katerina Srebotnik 6-3, 3-6, 10-4 after one hour and 24 minutes.

The Miami open will end on March 31.
