Frankfurt airport temporarily closed on drone alert
Frankfurt, March 22 (Xinhua) -- Due to the sighting of two drones, the Frankfurt Airport has ceased operations on Friday for almost half an hour, local media reported.
Flight operations were stopped immediately after two drones were spotted in the southern area of the Airport. No planes were allowed to take off or land at the major German Airport between 5:16 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. local time, said an Airport spokesperson.
