French shares drop 2.03 pct on Friday

PARIS, March 22 (Xinhua) -- French shares lost on Friday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 2.03 percent, or 108.93 points, to close at 5,269.92 points.

Of the 40 selected large companies, 39 lost in the day.

French banking company Credit Agricole lost 3.77 percent. French multinational mirror manufacturer corporation Compagnie de Saint-Gobain lost 3.82 percent and French banking group Societe Generale went down by 3.95 percent. Enditem
