North China landslide death toll rises to 20
Death toll of a landslide in northern CHINA's Shanxi Province rose to 20 after all those missing were confirmed dead, local authorities said Thursday.
Rescuers said they pulled out a body on Thursday morning, which was later identified as the last missing person.
A total of 13 people survived the landslide which occurred around 6:10 p.m. last Friday in the township of Zaoling in Linfen City, toppling two residential buildings, a makeshift house and a public bathhouse.
Work to deal with the aftermath is underway.
