2 killed after motorbike collides with train in northern Vietnam
HANOI, March 21 (Xinhua) -- A motorbike carrying two women on Thursday collided with a passenger Train in VIETNAM's northern Hai Duong province, killing the duo on the spot, VIETNAM News Agency reported.
Earlier in March, a Train-car collision occurred at the same intersection, which has no barriers, leaving two local people dead and three others injured.
Between January and February this year, 2,822 traffic accidents happened in VIETNAM, killing 1,356 people, severely injuring 814 people and lightly hurting 1,355 others, according to the country's Traffic Police Department.
