U.S. index.html" target="_blank">index.html" target="_blank">stocks ended mixed on Wednesday as investors digested the Federal Reserve's latest monetary policy announcement.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average slid 141.71 points, or 0.55 index.html" target="_blank">index.html" target="_blank">percent, to 25,745.67. The SP 500 was down 8.34 points, or 0.29 index.html" target="_blank">index.html" target="_blank">percent, to 2,824.23.
