Kyrgyz leader congratulates Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on assuming Kazakh presidency

Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov on Wednesday congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on assuming office as Kazakhstan's interim president.

"I am deeply convinced that the strategic partnership, friendship, alliance and good neighborly relations of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan will be further strengthened by joint efforts for the well-being and prosperity of our peoples," the press service of Kyrgyz president said.

The head of Kyrgyzstan wished Tokayev good health, well-being and success in running the government, and the people of Kazakhstan peace and prosperity.
