Israeli warplanes strike Gaza, dozens wounded in clashes with Israeli soldiers: medics

Gaza, March 19 (Xinhua) -- Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on Tuesday evening on a military facility, while several people were injured during clashes with Israeli soldiers in northern Gaza Strip, close to the border with Israel, medics and security sources said.

The security sources said that an Israeli warplane fired at least one missile at a training facility that belongs to Islamic Hamas movement in eastern Gaza; no injuries reported.

Meanwhile, medics said that 13 Palestinian demonstrators were injured on Tuesday night during clashes with Israeli soldiers stationed at the border between northern Gaza Strip and Israel.

The clashes were part of the weekly anti-Israel protests and rallies, which are organized close to the maritime border between Gaza Strip and Israel.
