Update: Iran's landed passenger plane catches fire, no casualties
TEHRAN, March 19 (Xinhua) -- A passenger plane carrying 100 people aboard caught fire after it landed at Tehran's Mehrabad international airport on Tuesday, Press TV reported.
No one was injured in the incident, according to the report.
The Iran Air flight from Kish Island to capital Tehran was forced to make an emergency landing due to landing gear failure.
The plane caught fire as it landed, but the fire fighters evacuated passengers and managed to extinguish the flames, the report added.
