Full text of NPC Standing Committee work report to be released via Xinhua

BEIJING, March 18 (Xinhua) -- The Report on the Work of the Standing committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) will be released in full text via Xinhua Monday.

Delivered by chairman of the NPC Standing committee Li Zhanshu on March 8, the report was approved at the closing meeting of the second session of the 13th NPC on March 15.

It reviewed the NPC Standing committee's work over the past year, and listed the main tasks for this year, including advancing the enforcement of the Constitution and oversight in this regard, raising the quality and effectiveness of legislative work, and improving the mechanism for NPC deputies to perform their duties.
