Dollar changes hands in mid-111 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo
Tokyo, March 18 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-111 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, largely in line with its levels in New York late last week.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 111.55-56 yen compared with 111.45-55 yen in New York and 111.65-66 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1319-1320 dollars and 126.27-31 yen against 1.1321-1331 dollars and 126.19-29 yen in New York and 1.1325-1326 dollars and 126.45-49 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
