Landmine blast injures civilian in western Tunisia: defense ministry

TUNIS, March 17 (Xinhua) -- A landmine Explosion injured a civilian in Tunisia's western province of Kasserine, Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP) reported Sunday.

The landmine Explosion took place at the Mghilla mountain, said Mohamed Zekri, spokesman of defense ministry.

Zekri called on citizens to comply with the ministry instructions and not to enter military zones.

Since 2014, Tunisian authorities have proclaimed several mountainous areas in western Tunisia as military zones.
