3 Israelis injured in shooting, stabbing attacks in West Bank

JERUSALEM, March 17 (Xinhua) -- A Palestinian man carried out two separate shooting and stabbing attacks in the West bank on Sunday, critically injuring three Israelis, Israeli authorities said.

A military spokesperson said in a statement that both attacks took place by the same perpetrator southWest of Nablus city in the northern West bank, one at the Ariel Junction outside the settlement of Ariel and another at the Gitai Avishar Junction.

"Troops are pursuing the attacker. More details to follow," the statement read.
