Lakers forward Ingram plans to be back next season after surgery
WASHINGTON, March 16 (Xinhua) -- The Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram is set to come back to play for the team next season after undergoing surgery on his right arm on Saturday.
The team said Ingram underwent successful thoracic outlet decompression surgery.
Earlier, the Lakers said Ingram was troubled by a sore right shoulder, but further tests revealed a Deep Venous Thrombosis -- a blood clot that forms in a vein in his right arm.
Ingram's surgery was performed at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
In 52 games this season, Ingram averaged 18.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3 assists per game for his team. Enditem
