4 injured as chopper crashes in Indonesia's West Java
JAKARTA, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Four people sustained wounds as a helicopter went down in Tasikmalaya district of Indonesia's West Java province Saturday afternoon, The rescue agency said.
The chopper with registration number BO-105 PK EAH crashed at about 2:30 p.m. Jakarta time in Jayaratu village, head of communication for media of national search and rescue office Yusuf Latief told Xinhua over The phone.
"The pilot suffers from minor injury, but three oTher people on board, including a co-pilot and two passengers have serious wounds. No one was killed in The incident," said Latief.
All victims have been rushed to a nearby hospital, he cited.
The helicopter, which is operated by PT Air transport Service, was en route from Kawalu sub-district to Wanaraja sub-district in The province.
