Indian exports register growth of 8.73 pct during April-February: data
NEW DELHI, March 15 (Xinhua) -- India's total exports during April 2018-February 2019 stood at an estimated 483.98 billion U.S. dollars, exhibiting a positive growth of 8.73 percent over the same period last year, said the country's foreign trade data released on Friday.
Overall imports during the April-February period are estimated to be 577.31 billion U.S. dollars, exhibiting a positive growth of 9.42 percent over the same period last year.
Exports in February 2019 were 26.67 billion U.S. dollars, as compared to 26.03 billion U.S. dollars in February 2018, exhibiting a positive growth of 2.44 percent.
Imports in February 2019 stood at 36.26 billion U.S. dollars, which was 5.41 percent lower over imports of 38.34 billion U.S. dollars in February 2018, it added.
