Unidentified gunmen kill civilian in Indian-controlled Kashmir
SRINAGAR, Indian-controlled Kashmir, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Unidentified gunmen shot dead a civilian after abducting him from his home in restive Indian-controlled Kashmir, police said Friday.
The 40-year-old Manzoor Ahmad Lone was abducted from his home and later shot dead in Gulzarpora of Pulwama district, 35 km south of Srinagar city, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.
"Last night unidentified gunmen entered the house of Manzoor Ahmad Lone at Dogriporaw and forcibly took him along," a police official said. "His body was later found in adjacent village of Gulzarpora and today handed over to his family."
Police suspects involvement of militants in the killing of Lone and have lauched investigations.
