Iran futsal remains third in world rankings

TEHRAN, March 14 (Xinhua) -- Iran remained third in the latest ranking released by Futsal world Ranking on Thursday, Persian Football website reported.

The Iranian national team sits third with 1,663 points.

Brazil and Spain are first and second with 1,901 and 1,781 points respectively.

Iran are preparing for the 2020 AFC Futsal Championship qualifiers and also 2020 FIFA Futsal world Cup.

Iran finished third at the FIFA Futsal world Cup Colombia 2016 after a 4-3 penalty shootout win over Portugal.
