British MPs reject no-deal Brexit at any time

LONDON, March 13 (Xinhua) -- British MPs on Wednesday voted to reject no-DEAL Brexit at any time in the wake of Tuesday night's shattering defeat of the Brexit DEAL of British Prime Minister Theresa May.

MPs voted by 312 to 308 on an amendment in a non-binding vote, which began at 1900 GMT. The latest result is seen here as a fresh defeat for the British government.

The vote in the House of Commons kicked off ahead of deciding whether Britain will leave the European Union without a DEAL on March 29 when Brexit is due.

On Tuesday night, MPs voted by 391 votes to 242, a margin of 149, to reject the revised Brexit DEAL May presented, bringing more uncertainties to the Brexit process. Enditem
