China's retail sales up 8.2 pct in Jan-Feb

BEIJING, March 14 (Xinhua) -- China's retail sales of consumer goods rose 8.2 percent Year on Year in the first two months of the Year, official data showed Thursday.

The growth held steady from an increase of 8.2 percent registered in December, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
