Police injured from suspected bomb explosion in Indonesia
JAKARTA, March 12 (Xinhua) -- One anti-terrorism squad personal was wounded after a suspected low-explosive bomb exploded outside the house of an alleged terrorist in Sibolga town of North Sumatra province on Tuesday, according to local police.
The explosion occurred during a crackdown in the hideout of the alleged militant with an initial of AH, said the national police spokesman Brigadier General Muhammad Iqbal.
"When the policemen were trying to enter AH's house, a suspected bomb exploded outside the house, injuring one of our personal," he told Metro TV.
AH's wife and children are in the house and police are calling them to surrender, said Iqbal, adding that AH has left the house.
He said that AH is a part of the terrorist networks based in Lampung province. Enditem
