Pompeo: U.S. to withdraw all diplomatic personnel from Venezuela

The United States will withdraw all its remaining diplomatic staff from Venezuela, according to a statement from U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Monday.

"This decision reflects the deteriorating situation in Venezuela, as well as the conclusion that the presence of U.S. diplomatic staff at the embassy has become a constraint on U.S. policy," said the statement.
