Spanish stocks lose 1.30 percent on Friday

MADRID, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares dropped 1.30 percent on Friday, with the benchmark index Ibex-35 falling from 9,249.90 to 9,129.30 points.

Only six of the 35 of the selected large companies saw their shares gained value in the day, while 27 made losses and two remained unchanged.

Saving bank, Bankia suffered a 4.76-percent fall in share prices, while engineering, design and construction company, Tecnicas Reunidas saw share values reduced by 3.36 percent and there was a 3.22-percent loss in shares for steel producer ArcelorMittal.

Friday's best performer was telecommunications company Cellnex Telecom with a 1.78 percent rise in share values, followed by energy company Enagas with a 0.82 percent increase and industrial firm, Indra which saw shares increase by 0.73 percent. Enditem
