3 Chinese tourists killed in car crash in New Zealand's South Island
WELLINGTON, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Three CHINESE Tourists were dead after a head-on car crash on Friday in New Zealand's South Island.
Two other CHINESE nationals were injured after the two cars collided on Braemar Rd, between its intersection with Tekapo-Twizel Rd, or State Highway 8, and Hayman Rd on Friday morning local time, an official from the CHINESE Consulate-General in Christchurch told Xinhua.
The five were part of a group of CHINESE Tourists, she said, adding that the two injured were currently in Dunedin Hospital for treatment.
