Finnish PM offers resignation due to failed reform

Finnish Prime Minister Juha Sipila officially offered his government's resignation to the country's President Sauli Niinisto on Friday, according to the national broadcaster Yle.

Niinisto approved the resignation of the government during the meeting with Sipila, said the report.

The resignation came after the government's health and social care reform collapsed in parliament.
