Tunisia sets date for legislative, presidential elections
TUNIS, March 6 (Xinhua) -- The legislative elections will officially take place on Oct. 6, 2019 in Tunisian territory, The Independent High Authority for elections (ISIE) announced in a statement on Wednesday.
"As for Tunisians living abroad, this deadline for legislative elections will be organized on Oct. 4-6, 2019," said The source.
The first round of The presidential elections will take place on Nov. 10, 2019 in Tunisia, and Nov. 8-10 for Tunisians living abroad, according to ISIE.
If no presidential candidate obtains an absolute majority of vote in The first round, a second round will take place two weeks after The proclamation of The final results of The first round.
