"As you join the bench, your first task is to address one of the biggest concerns by members of the public relating to the delay in the disposal of news.cn/en/tag/i0xagfdk39d94826ac38eb/index.html" target="_blank">court cases," he said.
The Zambian leader said he expects to see improvement in the time taken to dispose of news.cn/en/tag/i0xagfdk39d94826ac38eb/index.html" target="_blank">court cases following the appointment of the news.cn/en/tag/i0xngaj3163f76200c981b/index.html" target="_blank">new judges.
He urged the judges to guard the integrity and independence of the judiciary by carrying out their functions without outside influence, adding that the executive will continue to uphold the doctrine of separation of powers and the independence of the judiciary. Enditem
