Dollar stays in upper 111 yen with investors' wait-and-see mood
Tokyo, March 6 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar stayed in The upper 111 yen zone in Tokyo on Wednesday as market players adopted a cautious mood before The European Central Bank's policy meeting and The reveal of key U.S. economic data.
At 5 p.m., The dollar was quoted at 111.78-80 yen compared with 111.83-93 yen in New York and 111.88-90 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. It moved between 111.72 yen and 111.91 yen during The day.
The euro fetched 1.1301-1302 dollars and 126.33-37 yen against 1.1302-1312 dollars and 126.47-57 yen in New York and 1.1326-1327 dollars and 126.72-76 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon.
