Hong Kong, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 76.00 points, or 0.26 percent, to 29,037.6 points on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 28,938.39 and 29,122.81. Turnover totaled 114.51 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 14.59 billion U.S. dollars).
