World conference in San Francisco showcases trending technologies to address cyber threats
Top professionals, scholars, and experts from security companies and enterprises across the world gathered here Tuesday for a major annual event that showcased their cutting-edge technologies against cyber threats.
RSA Conference 2019, an annual event for March 4-8 held downtown San Francisco, brought together leading business leaders and internet and security companies, such as Microsoft, Intel, Symantec, Cisco, RSA, IBM, and VMware, to discuss emerging cybersecurity trends and technological innovation to address future threats.
The event featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, academic exchanges and tutorial training on a wide variety of topics, including cybersecurity threats, blockchain, cryptography, machine learning, cloud computing and services, data storage and protection, women's leadership, government policy and strategy, as well as technological innovation that targets future online threats.
An extensive security expo that drew more than 700 exhibitors in the security industry from across the globe, including dozens from China, was also held as part of the RSA Conference 2019 to showcase their most sophisticated products and services in fighting cyber threats and attacks.
Organizers said that the event aims to attract tens of thousands of the industry's top security professionals to network, learn and share information and knowledge on cybersecurity issues which the entire world is facing.
