Canadian stock market ends up
TORONTO, March 5 (Xinhua) -- Canadian main stock market rose Tuesday due to gains of health-care stocks.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's benchmark Standard Poor's/TSX Composite Index was up 48.41 points to close at 16,086.54 points.
The Canadian dollar dropped 0.21 cents to 0.7491 U.S. dollar.
On The market, a total of 122 issues rose while 107 fell. There were 19 new highs and four new lows.
The energy sector rose 0.3 percent while The financials sector was up 0.1 percent.
The materials group also added 0.4 percent.
Among The health sector, Aurora Cannabis jumped 12.5 percent to 10.80 Canadian dollars while rival Canopy Growth rose 2.9 percent to 64.17 Canadian dollars.
In The real-estate group, Colliers International Group added 38 cents to 91.13 Canadian dollars.
