APD | India: Modi says will find all the terrorists

NEW DELHI, March 5 (APD) - Speaking at an election rally in Jamnagar in the province of Gujarat, Prime Minister Modi said that he would not hesitate in destroying terrorist camps unlike the past governments.
Accusing the opposition parties of pursuing vote-bank politics, he said “The Opposition say it is a game of election. Where was election when we carried out surgical strikes for the first time in September 2016?”
He further said that his government had responded swiftly to the terrorist attack on Indian soldiers while the past governments had hesitated in taking action against terrorists.
He said, “If the former government then had courage, it could have avenged the deaths of innocent people at Ahmedabad Civil Hospital. Innocent people were killed in 26/11 in Mumbai. And we came back to normal after a few days.”
Modi further stressed that the opposition parties should not politicise the air strikes that the present government recently conducted and the statements of the armed forces should be trusted.
Reacting to Modi’s statements, Congress spokesman Manish Doshi said, “To hide law and order failure, which is a state subject, the Prime Minister is blaming the former government”.
Since the general elections 2019 are approaching the political parties have adopted an aggressive stance against each other and statements and accusations against each other have become common.
